Terms of use.

• ShresthaGlobal gives you information and estimates to compare your options for a move. It is not legal, tax, immigration or financial advice.
• Use the numbers to compare and to ask better questions. Do not treat a result as a payslip, a quote or a decision about your eligibility.
• You are responsible for your account, for what you upload and for checking anything important with an authorized professional before you act.
• Be fair to the site and to other people. No scraping, no attacks, no misuse.
• You use the site at your own risk. We do our best to keep everything accurate, available and secure, but we cannot promise it.
• We do not sell your data or share it with marketers. We share it with a partner only if you agree.

These terms form an agreement between you and ShresthaGlobal, a business registered in Faridabad, Haryana, India, part of the Delhi NCR region (“we” and “us”). Our servers are currently in the United States, and the site is open to visitors from anywhere. By using this website, creating an account or subscribing to our newsletter, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live, to create an account. You can browse the public pages and use the calculators without one. Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal information and forms part of how you use the site.

If you use ShresthaGlobal on behalf of an employer, university or other organization, you confirm that you are allowed to accept these terms for it.

ShresthaGlobal is a set of tools and guides for people planning to live and work in another country. At the time of writing, they include:

• Destination guides for eight countries.
• A jobs explorer, an after-tax pay calculator, a cost-of-living comparison and salary intelligence.
• A scenario that carries your destination, salary and household between the tools.
• A free account with a move profile, private document storage, the household life planner and the AI mobility guide.
• Professional support, which starts in the United States, and a newsletter.

The features page describes each one in more detail. Some features need a free account. The site is free to use today. If we introduce paid features, we will show the price before you pay for anything.

Everything on ShresthaGlobal is general information. We are not a law firm, an immigration adviser, a tax adviser, an accountant or a financial planner, and nothing here creates a professional or advisory relationship between you and us.

• We do not tell you whether you qualify for a visa or a status, and a result in our tools is not a decision by any authority.
• Tax and take-home figures are modeled estimates under simplified rules. They are not a payslip, a tax return or tax advice.
• Rules, rates and thresholds change, and your own circumstances can change the answer. Check important matters with an authorized professional in the relevant country before you make a decision or take action.
• We recommend destinations from the scenario you set, using the data we hold. Those recommendations are general information. You decide what to do with them, and no result is advice to move, accept a job or spend money.

We label every figure by where it comes from, and we explain how in how we work with numbers. Please read those labels. In particular:

• Job listings are postings published by employers and collected for us by third-party data providers. We do not verify them, and a posting may be filled, changed or withdrawn before we remove it. Pay and sponsorship wording are shown as posted, and seniority is inferred from the job title. We remove postings after 30 days.
• Illustrative city costs are marked as demonstration data. They show how the tools fit together and are not quotes.
• Exchange rates are fixed reference rates, not live market rates.
• Cost and market data comes from vendors we approve. We may add, replace or remove vendors and data sources at any time, so the data behind a figure can change.
• Tax results are tied to a named tax year, such as the 2024 or the 2026 tax policy. A result for one year does not apply to another, and rules can change after we publish them.
• Estimates assume a single resident employee with no dependants unless a page says otherwise, and they leave out things that vary by person, such as benefits, deductions, local taxes and your own savings choices.
• We are not the employer or a recruiter, and we do not take part in hiring. A listing is not an offer, and we do not guarantee that a role exists, is open, or will pay what the posting says. Apply on the employer’s own posting, and be careful with any request to pay money or share sensitive documents before an offer.

We work to keep information accurate and up to date, and we correct errors when we find them. If you spot one, please tell us. We cannot guarantee that anything on the site is complete, current or error-free.

• You sign in with a one-time code sent to your email, or with Google. Keep access to that email account or Google account secure, because it is the key to your account.
• Give us accurate information, and keep it up to date. Only create an account for yourself.
• You are responsible for what happens under your account. If you think someone else has gained access, sign out of every device from your account’s privacy page and let us know.
• You can close your account at any time by emailing us, and we will delete it as described in the privacy policy.

You keep ownership of everything you add to your account: your profile details, your photo and the files you upload. You give us only the permission we need to store them, show them back to you and run the service you asked for. We do not use your documents for advertising, and we do not sell them.

• Upload only things you have the right to upload, and do not upload anything unlawful, harmful or that infringes someone else’s rights.
• Documents are private to your account. A profile photo can be seen by anyone who has its link, so choose one you are comfortable sharing.
• Storage is limited to 1 GB per account, and supported file types are PDF, images, Word and Excel files.
• Treat the service as a convenient place to keep copies, not your only copy. Keep your own copy of original and important documents, and download your data when you want a backup.
• Please do not use the contact form or email to send passport numbers, tax identifiers or other sensitive documents.

Please use ShresthaGlobal fairly. You agree not to:

• break the law, or help anyone else to, through the site;
• try to access another person’s account, documents or data, or probe, scan or test the security of the site without our written permission;
• interfere with the site or its infrastructure, for example by overloading it or introducing malware;
• scrape, copy or harvest the site’s data, listings or content at scale, or use automated means to access it, other than ordinary search engines and browsers;
• resell, republish or build a competing product from our data, estimates or guides without our written permission;
• send spam, or use the contact form, newsletter sign-up or account system to send anyone unsolicited material;
• misrepresent who you are, or imply that we endorse you or your business.

You may print, share and quote short extracts of our public pages for personal, non-commercial use, as long as you credit ShresthaGlobal.

The guide uses artificial intelligence to help you work out what to ask and where to look. It can be wrong, incomplete or out of date, and it can misunderstand what you tell it. Its answers are general information, in the same way as everything else on the site, and are not legal, tax, immigration or financial advice.

• Check anything that matters against an official source or an authorized professional before you rely on it.
• Do not enter passport numbers, tax identifiers, health details or other sensitive information into the guide.
• Do not use it to make decisions that affect your legal status or finances without independent advice.

ShresthaGlobal’s professional support is general guidance and organization. Where a matter needs legal, tax or financial advice, we may refer you to an independent professional.

• We introduce you to a professional only with your consent, and we share your details with them only if you agree.
• Those professionals are independent of us. Any advice, engagement, fees and responsibility are between you and them, under their own terms.
• A referral is not a guarantee of their quality, availability or results, and it is not an endorsement for your particular situation.
• Please check that any professional you use is authorized to practice in the relevant country.
• Support starts in the United States. We will tell you plainly where we cannot help.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with marketers, advertisers or data brokers. We share it with a partner, such as a professional we introduce you to, only if you have clearly agreed, for that partner and that purpose. You can withdraw your consent at any time by emailing us. What a partner has already received is then governed by their own terms and privacy policy. The privacy policy explains this in full.

We run ShresthaGlobal on services provided by others: Supabase for our database and sign-in, Cloudflare for hosting and file storage, and Google if you choose to sign in with it. Your information is stored with them, on servers in the United States for now, and handled by our team in India.

We choose providers with care, but we do not own or control them. We are not responsible for their services, outages or security, and, to the fullest extent the law allows, for any loss, leak or unauthorized access that happens on their side or outside our reasonable control. The site may also link to other websites, such as official government pages. Their terms and privacy policies apply when you use them, and we are not responsible for their content.

The site, including its text, guides, data compilations, estimates, design, illustrations and software, belongs to us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. We give you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the site for its intended purpose. We keep every other right.

If you send us a suggestion, correction or other feedback, you agree that we may use it to improve ShresthaGlobal without paying you or crediting you. We will not publish your name or identify you without your permission.

We keep improving ShresthaGlobal, and we may change any part of it whenever we see fit, with or without notice. That includes our tools, features, data, data vendors and sources, integrations, hosting providers, server locations, the countries and cities we cover, our prices, and our payment gateways and billing providers. We may add, replace, suspend or retire any of them.

• Prices and payment: if we charge for anything, we will show the price before you pay. A change to a price or a payment provider applies from when we make it, going forward.
• Vendors and servers: we may change who supplies our data and where our servers are. We will update the privacy policy when that changes how your information is handled.
• Features: we do not promise that any feature or data will remain available, or that it will be available without interruption. Where we reasonably can, we will tell you about a change that significantly affects you and let you download your data first.

You can stop using the site at any time, and you can close your account by emailing hello@ShresthaGlobal.co. We may suspend or close an account, or restrict access, if you break these terms, if we reasonably believe the account is being misused or is at risk, or if the law requires it. Where we can, we will tell you why and let you download your data first.

When an account is closed, we delete your profile, documents and photo as set out in the privacy policy. Sections that by their nature should continue, such as those on intellectual property, use at your own risk and governing law, will continue after your account ends.

ShresthaGlobal is free, and it is provided “as is” and “as available”. You use it, and rely on what you find here, at your own risk. We work hard to make it accurate, available and secure, but we do not promise that it will be accurate, complete, current, uninterrupted, error-free or secure, or that it will suit your particular purpose.

• You are responsible for your decisions, such as moving, accepting or declining a job, signing a lease, or paying for a visa, and for any cost or outcome that follows.
• We are not responsible for losses that come from relying on estimates, sample data, guides or the AI mobility guide, or from advice or services given by anyone else.
• We are not responsible for lost or leaked data, outages or unauthorized access that come from our providers, from you, or from events outside our reasonable control.
• We are not responsible for indirect or consequential loss, or for lost income, opportunity or profit, of any kind.

All of this applies to the fullest extent the law allows. It does not take away any right that the law does not allow to be waived, and you agree to be responsible for claims and costs that arise from your breach of these terms or your misuse of the site.

These terms, and any dispute that arises from them or from your use of the site, are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Faridabad, Haryana, India have jurisdiction, except where the law of the country where you live gives you the right to go to your local courts, which these terms do not take away.

Before starting a formal claim, please write to us at hello@ShresthaGlobal.co and give us a chance to put things right. Most problems can be solved that way.

We may update these terms as the service or the law changes. We will change the date at the top of this page, and for changes that matter, we will also tell you by email or in your account before they take effect. If you keep using ShresthaGlobal after a change takes effect, you accept the new terms. If you do not agree to them, please stop using the site and close your account.
